Sowing seeds with Seafarers

Even during Lockdown, Counties evangelist, Steve Loader, has continued his work with merchant seafarers at the port of Bristol where he shares God's love with men of many different nationalities and religions.

It's not easy to show Jesus' love to men who are often at breaking point, but Steve Loader calls his work 'Divine Appointment'. The seafarers who arrive at Bristol port have often been at sea for nine months or more and haven't seen their loved ones in all this time.

Steve offers practical help but he is also there to talk, share, and offer Christin booklets in a variety of different languages. He sees his work as 'sowing seeds' that these men can take away with them as God chooses to work in their lives. To read the full article see the latest Ignite.
