David visits primary schools in his area to share the story of Jesus through assemblies and Walk Through the Bible lessons. He is also engaged in itinerant preaching and teaching, including Walk Through the Bible for adults and youths in churches and an annual mission trip to Moldova. David is married to Lindsey, who delivers assemblies in primary schools, and they have two grown-up children who are both married.


Stourbridge

Jordan & Lacy Armstrong

Jordan is the pastor and lead planter of Orchard Church in Wollaston, Stourbridge, which planted in May 2021. His responsibilities involve regular preaching, small group discipleship and vision-driven leadership for the Church Family. Jordan is married to Lacy, and they have a 2-year old and another on the way. They enjoy playing games, which has been a fun and useful hobby in making and deepening friendships and being able to share the Gospel.

Andy & Isobel Hodson

Andrew is the senior church leader of Windmill Community Church; which has a vision to be a network of churches planting in Wolverhampton. Currently, there are two communities, Finchfield and Compton. He is passionate about discipling the unchurched to know Christ and believers in a deeper walk with Christ. He enjoys, the big outdoors, racket sports, and gardening. He is married to Isobel, they have three children Sophie, Chloe, and Bethany.

Bob & Rita Telford

Bob is passionate about clearly and crisply explaining the message of the Bible and calling people to decide to follow Jesus. He does a lot of 'after dinner' type speaking at social and sporting events and often takes his gundogs with him on talks, performing tricks and helping him to explain how we can hear the Master’s voice. Bob is married to Rita and they have three grown-up children.


West Midlands

Paul & Vanessa Willmott

Paul is the creative brains behind “2 Minute Twist” - a set of short YouTube videos exploring BIG Faith Questions. Living in the Black Country; Paul, Vanessa and their family are active members of Amblecote Community Church. Working alongside a number of local churches, Paul creates links with primary schools and has direct Biblical input through whole-school assemblies, RE Lessons, and online resources. Paul is also available to speak at church-based outreach events for children and families.


Gloucestershire

Tim & Katrina Cracknell

Tim made the change from dairy farming to church planting in 2005. He is still passionate about cows but is even more passionate about people hearing the life changing message of the gospel! He & Katrina replanted the Community Church in Cinderford and are now combining pastoring that vibrant church with replanting an old church in Ross-on-Wye. The Community Church Forest & Wye, also has a strong online presence which is gathering momentum.

Leicestershire

Simon & Yvonne Terry

Simon’s ministry focuses on the Borough of Charnwood, seeking to connect local communities with the message of the gospel and the life of the church through community outreach, weekly services, a monthly luncheon and a literature table. He has been working on a book project for many years that explores the big questions of life. He hopes this will be a great resource for evangelism. Simon has produced a number of lectures with live animal displays that engage audiences through working with Answers in Genesis. He plans to design and develop a ‘Creation Café’ as an educational hub for visitors as well as base to develop his presentations under the ministry ‘Creation Encounters’. He and Yvonne have lived in the East Midlands for 17 years since moving there after working with the London City Mission. They have 2 children in their early and late teens.


Herefordshire

Andy & Bella Goode

Andy & Bella Goode live in Hereford. Andy part time pastors Putson Baptist Church having been there since 2016 revitalising the church which was heading for closure. He also heads up SHOW JESUS a ministry that engages in Show Work and Outdoor Evangelism with churches and individuals. Bella, as well as Andy, works personally with individuals and groups to encourage deeper discipleship and relationship with Jesus. Andy likes any sports, walking and Bella is keen on keeping fit and attends a ballet group every week. They have a large family and love spending time with children and grandchildren.

Steve & Debbie Cowles

We are Steve & Debbie Cowles. I grew up in the Arizona desert and my wife Debbie is from a farm in Kansas. We have been married and in full-time ministry since 1986. We have lived in Texas, Germany, and Guatemala, Central America, where I did construction work for Wycliffe Bible Translators.  We have now been in the UK for 30 years and became British citizens in November 2012. I have been the volunteer lead chaplain with Lancashire’s Constabulary since 2007. In addition to being a chaplain, I speak in schools, churches, youth clubs, and organise dads-n-lads events. My wife has a ministry to women including an online Bible study for international women. We love being part of Counties where we can use all of our gifts to reach others with the good news of Jesus Christ. I enjoy hiking, camping, shooting, and bushcraft. I love the outdoors and enjoy teaching people about it.

Julian & Elizabeth Gutteridge

Julian and Elizabeth have a heart for reaching out to ethnic communities, working mainly with Muslims in Hull, West Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. They take part in door to door work, open air outreach and regularly visit friends in mosques sharing their Christian faith and helping to organise multi-faith events.


Greater Manchester

Martin & Angie Korchinsky

Martin is the pastor of Brinnington Community Church, which is based on a housing estate in Stockport. He preaches and runs youth clubs, drop-ins, and a food bank, plus Neighbourhood Chaplains and various mission weeks in the local area. Martin is married to Angie with three grown-up children and two foster children and was introduced to Counties from the Church Planting Initiative.


Greater Manchester

Lee & Lesley Marsland

Lee is the Community Pastor at in Oldham working with Encounter Ministries. He’s married to Lesley and has a heart for the lost in the community. He has a real passion for street preaching, regularly going out with members of the local church onto the streets of Manchester, Blackpool and parts of Wales to sing worship songs and share testimonies, as well as preaching the Gospel and offering prayer.

Matt & Nicola Rich

Matt runs Chatnow.org a website that gives people the opportunity to chat online with a Christian at any time of day or night. Each month the website is visited by more than 15,000 people and they take more than 3,500 one-to-one chats. They have volunteers who help with chats with an aim of pointing people to Jesus and to a local church. Matt is also working with Bethany in Ulverston, seeking to help the church revitalise and grow through reaching out with the Gospel to the local community and seeking to grow mature committed disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rob has a passion for seeing churches grow through evangelism and Bible teaching. He leads young people’s discipleship groups, men’s groups and youth camps. Gordon and Penny Curley enjoy the challenge of sharing the Christian message with a range of age-groups and in a variety of situations, e.g. churches, pubs, schools, children's and youth clubs, their home, in fact wherever an opportunity opens up! Steve, a builder by trade, was brought up on a tough Bristol estate in a church founded by his own father – and through the Holy Spirit’s leading became a chaplain to seafarers at Portbury and Avonmouth Docks in Bristol. A father of three, he is supported by his wife Dawn, and his grown up children.

Charles Addoco's ministry focuses on outreach to migrant communities in London and Essex, through Bible teaching in homes, leading youth services in churches and inspiring them for missions in their communities. Using sports and social actions, Charles reaches out to vulnerable children and young people in partnership with local churches. Charles is married to Elizabeth and they have three children.


Hertfordshire

Will and Lynne Andrews

Will and Lynne work in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire and are committed to Evangelism and Bible Teaching that ensures the Good News of Jesus Christ is relevant and understandable to seeking people. Will uses clear Application Preaching that connects with people and is accompanied by quality visuals. As well as church-based outreach, Lynne is very active in Personal Evangelism in the neighbourhood. They also use coffee events, evangelistic quizzes, and enquirer groups to appeal to those who are seeking and helping them to link with a church. In 2018 Will found out he has Neuroendocrine cancer, which has given him a lot of opportunities to share the gospel and give pastoral care to people who have cancer. Will also represents Counties on the Operations Team of the Church Revitalisation Project, using his experience of conducting Church Health Checks over the last 20 years.


Suffolk

Tim & Joy Ayrton

Tim and Joy run the family and community centre Number 72 in Sudbury. They offer support for parenting, bereavement, money management and relationship issues. Their vision is to provide help to families of all kinds as they encounter the normal ‘highs and lows’ of parenting and family life. They have two children. number72.net


Kent

Mark and Amanda Bingham

We live in Maidstone in Kent. We have five children. I am on the leadership team of our local church. I have been a full-time Evangelist for over 15 years. I have a heart for the lost and organise a team of people from different churches across Maidstone to go out into town to share the gospel with people and I also do some children’s work. I am available to speak at outreach events, and church services and help to facilitate evangelism training for churches across Kent.

John aims to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in creative ways. He uses juggling, story-telling, and music. He writes songs and produces DVDs, CDs, and holiday club, puppet books and sheet music books to help resource others in their children's ministry. He also leads schools work, children and family events, celebrations, praise parties and holiday clubs around the country.


Hertfordshire

Kim & Jo Hobbs, Hemel Hempstead

Kim and Jo reach out to prisoners and ex-offenders to help them resettle after prison. They also support those struggling with mental health issues, addiction or isolation. In 2016 they established Cornergate Foundation in order to develop a sustainable service and ministry offering friendship and practical care and to share the Gospel. Work focuses on rehabilitation services at the local prison, support on release and in the community. Cornergate Foundation also supports churches to care for the often forgotten people in communities.


Suffolk

Tony & Ruth Hood

Tony and Ruth work in the local primary schools, which involves running after-school clubs, assemblies, and lessons - all of which aim to share the gospel, Ruth also mentors children with anxiety. They also run holiday clubs, family camps, and church weekends. Tony regularly teaches and preaches as well as leads worship. Through events like coffee and chat mornings, taste life courses for those with eating disorders, and running regular youth groups we seek to serve and meet people’s different needs sharing Jesus with them as we do this. Tony and Ruth have three children

Colin & Linda Johnson

Colin works with Hockliffe Street Baptist Church in Leighton Buzzard, sharing the gospel through community visiting and market outreach. He also does community outreach for Langdale Church in Dunstable. Since the Pandemic Colin has been involved with online outreach, producing videos on how the gospel is relevant to our life issues and running online groups, including Alpha and The Wellbeing Journey. He has been leading a Neighbourhood Chaplains team for many years. Colin is a trained Christian counsellor and is married to Linda, they have three grown-up children and three lovely granddaughters.

Andrew & Rachel Mugford

Andrew & Rachel lead the evangelistic ministries of Fullbridge Church, Maldon. Through events, courses like Alpha, and relationship-building opportunities that include a toddler group, Job Club and School Chaplaincy, they seek to meet individual’s immediate ‘known’ needs and, through doing so, share our hope in knowing the Lord Jesus personally. Rachel is involved with “Bible Text Publicity Mission” and “Message on the Move” (MEMO) – charities promoting Gospel texts online and on public transport.  They co-lead Suffolk Christian Family Camp and are involved in a new Family Camp in the southwest. They have worked recently as Summer Chaplains with Tubestation Church, Polzeath, and “Creation Fest”, both in north Cornwall.


South West

Jacquie & Tim Bodman

Jacquie helps to run a pioneering Neighbourhood Chaplains team in Cornwall, as the south west Neighbourhood Chaplains Champion. She works closely with other churches, the community, local NHS providers, Volunteer Cornwall and the town council in this role. As the Pastor’s wife and Evangelist at Camborne Community Church, Jacquie is part of the leadership team and oversees the children, youth and family work, both within the church and the community. She is also involved in a local secondary school, where she is a chaplain, as well as a Christian support for the RE lessons.


North Devon & Mid Devon

David & Katie Symons

David works with churches in North and Mid Devon to reach people with the Gospel and to encourage Christians in the region to share their faith. He also works closely with young people and students through united youth events, Bible study groups, and the Christian Union at Petroc college. He is also one of the elders of Central Church Bideford. He is married to Katie, who is involved in the local Messy Church team, as well as personal evangelism and discipleship. They have two daughters, Eloise and Annabel.


North Devon

Steve Ellacott

Steve Ellacott lives in the village of Fremington, North Devon. He supports small assemblies and fellowships, with teaching, preaching and outreach activities. He runs Bible Club’s and Christian Unions at local schools and Petroc College. Several times a term takes school assemblies; bringing a Christian message to the students. Through One2Lead SW he helps to equip and develop young Christian leaders; encouraging them to get involved in their local church and youth fellowships. With the assistance of Beth Symons, Counties evangelist, he runs a weekly “Going Deeper” Bible study based at McDonalds, Barnstaple. He mentors and encourages young Christians, through Bible Studies and Home Groups. He is in fellowship at Grosvenor Barnstaple, a Counties Connect Netwwork church, where he has responsibility for liaising with their missionaries and full-time workers; organising and co-ordinating the monthly missional prayer meeting.


South Devon

Stevie & Natalie Walker

Stevie and Natalie live in Paignton and have seven children. He works with churches in the South Devon area helping them to reach out and share Jesus. Stevie helps at coffee mornings in different churches. He is particularly passionate about sharing the Good News through open-air preaching and door-to-door knocking. He is continually seeking to help equip other people and churches to go out and share the Gospel in the local community.

Cardiff

Lesley & Andrew Lawrence

Lesley is a Baptist Minister (Evangelist) and is based at Calvary Baptist Church, Cardiff where her husband Andrew is a leader. She is passionate about reaching people with the gospel. She particularly enjoys sharing the Good News with vulnerable people who attend the weekly ‘Community Praise’ service at Calvary and reaching out to the community through church outreach events. She is one of the leaders on the Counties OnetoLead youth programme and she serves on the team at the Royal Welsh Show through the ministry of ‘Show Jesus’. She also preaches in churches across South Wales. Lesley travels extensively throughout Wales with her prayer partner, Mary, praying that the Lord will bless and transform communities and for people to come into relationship with Him. Lesley is a Welsh learner and enjoys the opportunity to speak to people in their heart language. Lesley and Andrew have three grown up children and live in Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales.

Clive & Fiona Cornish

Clive has a heart for helping ex-offenders stay on the right path and develop in their faith. He regularly visits prisoners at HM Prison Prescoed and also works with young people with a non-church background. He preaches with a very direct relevant message not compromising the truth of the Christian faith and keeping it real. He works alongside long term unemployed and those with broken backgrounds to help them restructure their lives. Clive is best known for walking long distances with a 12ft x 6ft 50-pound cross long distance. Clive is married to Fiona and they have three grown up daughters.

Mike & Jan Thomas

Mike Thomas lives in Cardiff with Jan, his wife and four children. He has been a member of Rumney Chapel since 1998 and currently serves on the Leadership Team there. As an evangelist, Mike is passionate about seeing lives transformed and communities restored through Christ-centred mission. He spearheads many different outreach projects in the local community and further afield. He also heads up Spree Wales – a summer children's & youth event held in Carmarthen, West Wales.


Swansea

Paul & Laura Davies

Paul and Laura are from Swansea and have three young children. They are based at Waterfront Community Church, Swansea where Paul is an Elder (leading the Children & Families work and Pastor of Hope Church).  Their passion for many years has been to present the gospel to ‘all generations.’   Paul presents the Christian faith and message in Primary and Secondary School Assemblies as well as Lessons including ’24 Hours that Changed the world’ presentation and GSUS Live, and Swansea SACRE. Paul also leads Children’s and Youth groups in the Swansea Valley and presents Holiday Club & One Day Family Shows called Kapow! Swansea

Phil & Sheila Davies

Phil& Sheila are based out the West side of Swansea and in particular, Dunvant Christian Fellowship where Phil is one of the leadership team. Phil’s heart is to share the good news of Jesus wherever he can - through preaching, teaching, and 'by any means' including many forms of visual communication. He mainly focuses on local churches, schools, and universities. He is also involved in the One 2 Lead training course for young people and witnesses at agricultural shows in Wales as well as a frequent user of Counties resources such as GSUS Live. He also works with Partnership & the Wales Leadership Forum encouraging, supporting, and helping in revitalisation of churches across South Wales. Phil & Sheila have four grown-up and married children and they have eight grandchildren.


Pembrokeshire

Janet Hawking

Janet Hawking is based in North Pembrokeshire. She is widowed with children and grandchildren. In 2006 she heard the call of God to teach “Walk Through the Bible”. She pioneered and now leads a small team across five counties and is welcomed by 250 Primary Schools. These include English and Welsh-speaking schools; and church and non-church-based schools. She now loves to train, equip and release others from various churches into mission - to reach and teach the next generation. At each school, she aims to give each pupil a picture Bible from “Bibles For Children”.


Swansea

Steve & Gwyneth Treseder

Steve and Gwyneth are based in the Mumbles area of Swansea at Castleton Chapel in Oystermouth where Steve is part of the leadership team. Steve is involved in preaching, teaching and discipleship in the fellowship. They have a heart for the local community and continually look for ways to interact with people of all ages by using friendship evangelism and one to one interaction in various ways.  Although children’s work has played a large part in the activities of Castleton Chapel, they have found over recent years that the ageing fellowship has meant that they spend more time in pastoral work.  However, Steve still loves talking to children about Jesus and regularly visits all of the surrounding schools with his puppet dog, Alfie.  Steve also writes and records for Your 542day on a weekly basis.  Steve and Gwyneth have two grown up children and three grandchildren who are all in their teens and twenties.
