Making Jesus Known: dive into our new podcast
Have you tuned in to the new podcast Making Jesus Known Today and Tomorrow, presented by our CEO Martin Erwin?
You can listen on Saturdays and Sundays at 15:10 on TWR Life.
The podcast explores ideas and reflections from our recently published book of the same name: Making Jesus Known Today and Tomorrow. Each episode features a conversation between Martin and one of the book’s contributors. They explore how the Gospel can be presented to the greatest effect in the twenty-first century.
These discussions, which include guest contributions from some Counties Evangelists, offer even more examples, stories and personal experience about how to apply biblical wisdom to make disciples and grow churches.
The series will introduce us to people who believe the Gospel, are seeing God at work, and believe He is not finished with the church in the United Kingdom.
In the recently-aired first episode, GLO Europe General Director, Stephen McQuoid, shared some heartening stories of churches that are growing thanks to their passion and real conviction for sharing the Gospel.
In a wide-ranging conversation which covers many big questions such as: “What is the Gospel?” and the decline of those who identify as Christian in the UK, Martin and Steve find examples of growth and hope. They also discuss why so many Christians are reticent to share the Gospel and the need to declare it confidently because of its universal relevance.
Martin concludes the episode by affirming: “The Gospel is powerful to save everyone who believes. The Gospel hasn't changed and Jesus hasn't changed. May God help you to have a renewed confidence in the power of the Gospel and in his calling and equipping of you as you go and share it.”
We want this podcast series to be a continuation of the book, and we sincerely hope you enjoy listening to the interviews and find active hope through the stories and examples of good work that are shared. If you have tuned in, let us know what you think.
