The Life exhibition goes virtual

Counties popular exhibition for primary school children – the Life exhibition – has been launched as a digital resource this winter to help churches stay connected to schools during lockdown and beyond.

The Virtual Life Exhibition will feature all of the usual songs, quizzes and films and children and teachers will be able to navigate around the digital tents through a tablet or laptop.

The resource, which shares the story of Jesus, is designed to complement the current schools RE curriculum. Churches can make a donation to enable their local schools to access the virtual exhibition.

Life Exhibition coordinator Kevin Baldwin said: “In view of Covid-19 we have had to get creative! Just as we thought we would be back to visiting communities again, we have gone into lockdown two and Virtual Life seems to be the way forward.

“This doesn’t replace the physical Life exhibition but the possibilities that we have are going to be huge. It’s a fantastic way for churches to connect with schools online during this season of Covid-19.”
