Nant Coch Church is an independent evangelical church with about 40 regular members. Our congregation spans multiple ages, and we are engaged in a variety of ministries throughout the week. We are members of the UK Evangelical Alliance.
The church is situated in a residential community and has for many years had gospel opportunities. We are committed to our community and are looking for a minister who will help us develop this work.
Job Profile
What will the job involve?
The role will include:
drawing more people into the core of our fellowship from the fringes of the church and from outside;
encouraging and equipping church members to fulfil their roles in the church and the wider body of Christ;
and enabling the church in its evangelism to the local community and the world.
Person Profile
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a minister who is a committed Christian leader with vision, drive and the ability to get things done. This role is for someone who will be less about preaching and more about drawing people living near the church into the life of the church.
What is the time commitment?
We are happy to discuss whether the role is full- or part-time, and salary is negotiable for this position depending upon qualifications and relevant experience.
When is this for?
We are looking to find the right person as soon as possible. However if you think this would work for you, but only on a longer time period, we are happy to talk to you. The start date of employment is flexible and by mutual agreement during the final interview process.
How to apply?
To apply for the post, candidates should email the following to elders@nantcoch.org.uk:
application form or curriculum vitae: candidates should complete and submit the application form which they should have received with this application pack.
However, the selection committee realises that completion of application forms can be time-consuming and is happy to accept an up-to-date curriculum vitae instead of the application form, provided that the curriculum vitae and the accompanying email cover all of the details set out in the application form.
Suitable candidates will be selected for a shortlisting interview with members of the church’s leadership team. During this interview we will explore your experience in church leadership and your reasons for applying for the post.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a more extended interview process which will involve meeting different groups from the church and leading part of a Sunday service.
