Introducing Counties Connect

Here’s Martin to tell you a little bit about Counties Connect - a network for local churches who are focussed on the Great Commission.

Why we’ve launched Counties Connect

Only about 6% of people in the UK follow Jesus.

We think the best way to make Jesus known to more people in every community is to help their local churches be more effective at evangelism. Imagine how many people in your neighbourhood would hear about Jesus if every Christian in the local church was confident at sharing their faith? If churches worked together to share the gospel in creative ways?

That’s what Counties Connect is all about. Using the expertise of Counties and our partners to empower the local church.

Why a network?

We believe we’re stronger together. Being part of a network will help churches to encourage one another, stay focussed on their mission, and be more effective. The Connect network brings together and freely shares the skills and experience of all its local churches, along with Counties, GLO, the Church Growth Trust and other regional and national partners.

There’s no joining fee for this network – it’s simply a great new way for churches to get inspired, equipped, and engaged with the mission of telling their neighbours about Jesus.

How can Connect help your church?

Be inspired:

Hear exciting stories of progress through our Ignite magazine and Connect e-news.

Be equipped:

Use ready-made resources and programmes to share Jesus with your community, young people and local schools (see ‘Our Initiatives’ menu).

Send a church member on our Connect Evangelists Training Programme.

Take your church leadership team through the Great Commission Team Process – a fresh look at your vision and plan for making disciples.

Engage further:

Join or start a Regional Connect Team, where like-minded churches work together across a region to encourage and help one another make disciples.
