The Life exhibition, the story of Jesus, kids style
Thank you for your interest in hosting the Life exhibition! Here you will find some essential information about the resource:
What is the Life exhibition? It's a multimedia exhibition aimed at Year 5 and 6 children. Using graphic panels, music and interactive tablets, Life helps children hear about the story of Jesus in a fun and exciting way.
Who hosts the exhibition? Christian charity Counties will set up the exhibition, as well as providing pre-printed publicity. It is then hosted by a church or group of churches usually at a central venue ideally with 120 to 180 m² of floor space
How do I get schools interested? We will send you an Information Pack that you can send to your local schools, we usually find schools are very keen to visit!
Do I need to provide volunteers? Yes, you will need about eight people to run the exhibition over a week long period, including some who have some experience of working with children
What does it cost? The cost of running the exhibition (£2250/week) is often subsidised by Counties meaning that a donation of £950 would be enough for a week, with any donations often shared amongst a group of churches. It is then offered free to schools.
What do I do next? Take a look at the promo film above to get an idea of a typical life exhibition then use the film to gather support in your church or community
